Speakers

Professor Rosalie David, OBE, will be speaking as part of the roundtable that will open the conference. She will be joined by Dr Will Carruthers, who recently edited the 2014 collection of essays Histories of Egyptology: Interdisciplinary Measures, and Professor Khadija von Zinnenburg Carroll, Professorial Fellow and Chair of Global Art History at the University of Birmingham, and specialist in reception theory and the legacies of colonialism.

The keynote address will be given by Professor Stephanie Moser, Professor of Archaeology and Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Southampton. Prof. Moser is an expert in the representation and reception of the past, and is the author of Wondrous Curiosities (2006) and Designing Antiquity (2012).
