The conference will take place in the Lecture Theatre in the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, (R14 on the Campus Map). The Barber Institute contains works by Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Auguste Rodin, Pablo Picasso and Rembrandt, and has one of the world’s largest coin collections, especially of Roman and Byzantine coins. We encourage delegates to go for a stroll through the galleries in tea and lunch breaks!

Monet’s Water Lily Pond (1900) [below] is currently on loan to the Barber from Chicago – it’s a beautiful piece, and only in the gallery for a few days after the conference closes, so it’s a great opportunity to go and see it while you can!
